There's nothing quite like the exhilaration of thousands of admitted students and their families all coming to the UC San Diego campus for the day. We filled the amphitheater four times over, had great turnout by our student orgs and departments, the weather held, the families seemed so happy, and...did i mention the weather held? Whew. Another wildly successful Triton Day program is on the books!

Today was a terrific opportunity to reconnect with longtime colleague William Ponder over lunch at the UCSD campus. Bill, it's wonderful to hear all that you are doing with the Burnham Center, and for the betterment of our fair city. In related news, Bill and I calculated that since we first collaborated in 1999, we must have been 12 at the time. 😉
