@Alissa Gordon Heinerscheid… I can agree with being more inclusive, however, there are plenty of women you insulted in your effort to focus on she/hers. Women like yourself, lesbian women who have suffered all kinds of prejudice, single mothers, women who have careers and family and juggle both. Instead, your statement says it takes a man to do a woman’s job. Shameful. JMHO
Sure Bud Light, you can put Dylan Mulvaney's picture on your bottles if you want to sell less beer. College dudes looking to get laid would be more likely to buy it if it had say Kate Upton on it. Their sales fell 40% and lost $4B in value. Throwing away half of your customers to market to less than 1% of the population is bad marketing. Most lefties drink the premium craft stuff anyway. Good job to their VP of marketing Alissa Gordon Heinerscheid!
Just because it works for NIKE doesn't mean it works EVERYWHERE ELSE!! Nike knows who their market demographics are, and could care less if 4% (give or take) of their customer base is offended. AB cannot say the same for their Budweiser/Bud Light products. Those are bought by people with real hard core American heartland values. These people make up the bulk of their customer base. I've been around the city folk too, who wouldn't be caught dead with a Bud.. Their preference is the local craft beers blended with various fruits etc, and they proudly display their latest finds. People I've been around, and understand the way they think. This by itself wasn't terrible.. but when you add what has been going on the past couple of years, with the left successfully boycotting several brands that they seem even a fraction offensive. The made up game Quidditch comes to mind.. Now take all the pent up anger and frustration, and combine that with a "fratty" VP calling Bud Light's customer base fratty and out of touch.. and you have a disaster in the making.
Entitled woman syndrome is here downfall. Let's all agree she failed upwards on the corporate ladder. She wasn't hired for her work ethic or creativity. Take enough skillpath bs courses and spew enough buzzwords and tell people to follow her model, is the reason why USA is failing. Look at Elizabeth Holmes, why is USA promoting this as successful.
I am not sure that due diligence, and appropriate Marketing Research was done before this ridiculous decision was made.
